M.S. Kuznetsov factory Desert Plate

The factory by the Kuznetsov Brothers at Novo-Kharitonovo, was founded in 1810. In 1892 M.S. Kuznetsov purchased the well-established Francis Gardner Porcelain Factory. By the early twentieth century it had taken over many smaller factories and was soon responsible for almost two-thirds of pottery and porcelain output in the Russian Empire.
